Alex Maggs is the founder or ProAction Networks and remains the chief technical and account management contact within the company.

Alex originally studied Computer Science at the University of Hull, but soon began as a gopher IT technician within a couple of UK banks and a brief 6 month stint at Microsoft UK with early practical exposure to TCP/IP and Microsoft Windows NT with Exchange and shortly after, Active Directory. Somewhere, Alex still has a treasured Windows NT4 Server and Desktop certificate.

After a little hiatus in the early 2000s, Alex worked within the PBX and Contact Centre channel helping with pre-sales, project management and hands-on commissioning and troubleshooting. Shortly after establishing ProAction Networks in 2008, Alex became a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and moved the company into the prestigious Bletchley Park (home of the codebreakers), just north of London, in Milton Keynes.

To this day, Alex has a hands on commitment to all the companies we work with and is available 24 hours a day to help - or often, for just a chat.
